108 Comes for the Rescue of 8 Critically Injured as AP Parivahan Mandal Bus Flipped Over

Nanded, May 14, 2019: Andhra Pradesh Parivahan Mandal bus met with an accident near Sonari bus stand at Bhokar on evening of May 14, 2019 at around 5.30 to 6.00 pm. Driver lost the control as the road was narrow and it had big pot holes. The bus flipped over on other side of the road.
The route from where the bus was passing was under maintainace and the work was on progress. This became the main reason of this accident.
A passenger onboard was medical officer himself so observing the need of time, he immediately dialled 102 and admitted all the injured passengers to nearby Bhosai Primary Health Center. But the situation of few of them was critical thus they were suggested ti Nanded Government Medical College.
On receiving call from Bhosai Primary Health Center, 2 nearby 108 ambulances shifted the patients to Nanded Government Medical College.
Another 108 ambulance was rushed to the accident spot without anyone’s request for the help of other injured passengers.
Truck Flipped Over, 11 injured
Pune, May 14, 2019: A truck flipped over in a farm as the driver lost control on an early morning of May 14 near Yevati.
Few witnesses said that the truck was not driven by cleaner not the trained driver. He lost his control and truck went into a farm and flipped, 20 to 25 foot from highway. 10 to 12 passengers travelling in this truck have been badly injured. Few of them includes children.
On requests of passerby, BVG 108 Ambulance reached the spot within 5 minutes. Minor injured were provided with on the spot treatment, other patients were admitted to Rural Hospital in Yevati providing enroute care.

Deadly Accident of Four Wheeler Near Yedenipani Phata
Sangli: A four wheeler near Yelur Islampur Peth Naka met with a deadly accident on May 13, 2019.
Car carrying 8 passengers from Satara was on its way to Belgaon for a wedding. On excruciatingly hot afternoon at around 2 to 3,  the tyre of the car burst and it lost the control.
Other passers-by called the BVG 108 Emergency Medical Helpline Number describing the accident details. 6 out of 8 passengers were badly injured.  They were shifted in ambulance and rushed to nearby Islampur Multispeciality Hospital providing them enroute care in Ambulance.
At the time of admitting, the health of patients were stable due to primary treatment of BVG 108 Emergency Medical Service Officer (EMSO).
