He has penned down a heartfelt letter thanking his teammates and fans.
Kaif has played 125 ODIs and 13 Tests for India and have scored 2753 and 624 runs respectively. He will be most remembered for his brilliant catching and fielding.
His teammates wished bid him farewell from the game.
