Bollywood is yet to recover from the shocking news of Irrfan Khan’s Neuroendocrine Cancer and now another actress has revealed that she is suffering from Metastatic Cancer.
A 43 year old – Sonali Bendre in a statement said that she has been diagnosed with cancer. She wrote, “Sometimes, when you least expect it, life throws you a curveball. I have recently been diagnosed with a high-grade cancer that has metastised, which frankly did not see it coming.”
The actress who is well known for her movies ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, ‘Sarfarosh’ and ‘Diljale’ said that her family and close friends have rallied around her and have been her support system.
The actress is currently undergoing a course of treatment in New York and is determined to fight every step of the way. She said, “I am taking this battle head on, knowing I have the strength of my family and friends behind me.”
