Thackeray criticizes Modi-Fadnavis on Shivaji Maharaj Statue

It is sad that the Fadnavis government has sidelined Shivsena chief Uddhav Thackeray. The Shivsena supremo has expressed his views while giving interview to the editor Sanjay Raut of in his party’s mouthpiece ‘Samana’ today. He was referring the current heated argument over the proposed statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to be installed in the Arabian Sea. The government has decided to lower the height of the statue to curtail the expenses. The foundation stone of the project worth Rs 3,600 Cr was laid down at the site at the hands of Prime Minster Narendra Modi in 2016.

Thackeray while criticizing the Modi and Fadanavis government taunted that they themselves don’t have the height (stature) to understand the values and virtues of this great and iconic leader of Maharashtra without whom not only Maharashtra but the entire nation would have become Islamic.

Thackeray also passed remarks on burning issues like women safety. He said that the government is busy taking care of cows but ignored the safety of the women.
