The Hindi remake Dhadak of Marathi movie Sairat has earned Rs 11 Cr in first couple of days which is expected to reach Rs 50 Cr by this weekend. While, most of the film critics couldn’t refrain from comparing it with the original version saying that the remake has lost its flavor due to erasing the caste factor as the main ingredient in the original film. Although, the Bollywood praised the director Shahank Khaitan and; its stars Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar; the movie is failed to impress the audience and many expressed their desire to watch ‘Sairat’ again as a wash off.
After the songs of movie Sairat went viral and noted actor Aamir Khan praising the movie; filmmaker Karan Johar became interested and all set to shoot the remake of the same. After lukewarm response to its promos and online trailer, all eye of the film lovers were set on Dhadak.
