A private bus, MH 12 – 6768, stricken with an accident a kilometer away from the Tamhini village in Pune on April 28, 2019. Private bus carrying 40 passengers was on its way to Konkan Darshan.
Of the 40 people travelling in bus, 25 were injured in the accident. On request of Local Police to 108 BVG Emergency Helpline Number, three ambulances were immediately rushed to the spot and seriously injured were immediately admitted to the rural hospital of Paud.
Paud Rural Hospital’s Medical Superintendent Dr. Sunil Patil and his colleagues immediately took the injured under observation and suggested to admit them to Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital Kothrud and Aundh District Hospital for further treatment.
Dr. Santosh Malishe, Dr. Rathod, Dhhok, Shinde, Kadam and Maval Pratishthan Ambulance helped in the transfer of injured patients.
Sanjivani Sathe (55 years), is the woman who died on the spot in this accident.
