Hope took a single of the first ball, the next went to a boundary of Nurse’s pads, Ashley Nurse took a couple of the third and got caught of a paddle, with 7 left of the last 2 balls, Hope took a couple of the fifth and hit a four of the last and ended the nail biting thriller into a tie.

After winning the toss and batting first, India had a bad start as Kemar Roach got rid of Rohit Sharma (4), Shikhar Dhawan (29) and Captain Virat Kohli got together before Ashley Nurse caught Dhawan plumb before the stumps.
Ambati Rayadu came in at no. 4 to join the in form Kohli, the duo stitched together a 139 run stand. Rayadu made 73 (80) which included 8 boundaries.
Meanwhile, Kohli completed his 10,000 ODI runs making him the fastest to reach the landmark with just 205 innings. Sachin Tendulkar had taken 259 innings for this achievement. He also brought up his 37th ODI century.

Dhoni (20), Pant (17), Jadeja (13) couldn’t contribute much to the total. Kohli finished with a flourish in the death overs. He piled up 157 runs of 129 balls including 13 fours and 4 sixes.
Debutant Obed McCoy and Ashley Nurse took 2 wickets while Kemar Roach and Marlon Samuels finished with 1 each as India put up 321/6.

WestIndies had a good start as Chandrapaul Hemraj (32) and Kieran Powell (18) struck 9 boundaries between them. Shami got rid of Powell, Kuldeep of Hemraj and Samuels but then it was all Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer show. The duo put up a partnership of of 143.
Hetmyer smashed the Indian bowlers for 4 fours and 6 sixes in his 64 ball 94. Shai Hope smashed 123* of 134 balls including 10 4s and 3 sixes.
