DDLJ Turns 23, Crosses 1200 Weeks At Maratha Mandir

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge or DDLJ as it is fondly called is undoubtedly the most romantic film ever on celluloid. The timeless lovestory of Raj and Simran is written in gold in the history of Hindi cinema.

The picturesque landscapes of Europe and the heartland of India – Punjab, the melodious music by Jatin-Lalit, sung beautifully by Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosale, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu and Abhijeet Bhattacharya have forever been in our memories.

The directorial debut of Aditya Chopra which gave Hindi cinema its eternal romantic couple of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol turns 23 today. The film which is already the longest running film, crosses 1200 weeks.

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol took to Twitter to thank their fans for their unconditional love.
