Have you ever tried to reach God ? If yes, Have he answered you ? I guess, No ! But he does answer an eight year old Hamid, living in the spectacular yet war-torn Kashmir valley.
Plot :
Hamid has plenty of questions to ask his parents. His father has been taken away from him. He learns that 786 is God’s number. He dials and reaches an army officer who is in an hospital badly injured and is in a predicament about his situation. The child and the jawan, whom Hamid considers as God bond over phone and the two shattered lives find a way to be complete again.
The film stars Talha Arshad Reshi, Sumit Kaul, Rasika Dugal and Vikas Kumar in lead roles. The film is directed by Aijaz Khan, written by Ravinder Randhawa and produced by Vikram Mehra and Siddharth Anand Kumar.
The film has been shortlisted for the Oxfam Best Film on Gender equality at MAMI 2018 and will premiere in India Story section at the Mumbai Film Festival.
