‘Veere Di Wedding staring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania which released on 1 June in 2647 screens worldwide has opened to a thundering response.
The chick flick earned 10.70 crores on day one beating Akshay Kumar starrer Padman which earned 10.26 crores.Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi 2 leads the year with 25.10 crores, followed by the Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s mangum opus Padmaavat who earned 19 crores.
The film is directed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Newtork and Saffron Broadcast & Media.
