2.0 Trailer : India’s Biggest, Costliest Film with Coolest VFX and Stunts

The trailer of Superstar Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s 2.0 has finally been unveiled at a grand event in Chennai and it is no less of a magnum opus.

The movie also stars Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain and Kalabhavan Shajohn in pivotal roles.

Music maestro A R Rahman have composed the music for this extravaganza

The looks of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar playing the badass villain were released earlier.

From the trailer it looks like Chitti, the robot who was dismantled at the end of the first movie is put together by Vaseegaran to fight the evil giant crow like Akshay Kumar who says, “Cell phone rakne wala har vyakti hatyara hai (Every cell phone user is a killer).”

The movie boasts some breathtaking action sequences done using 5 VFX studios worldwide, 2150 VFX shots, 1000 complex VFX shots, 1000 VFX artistes, 10 concept artists, 25 3D designers , 500 craftsmen, 3,000 technicians.

The movie is said to be made at a massive budget of 545 crores which makes it the costliest Indian film.

The film is directed by S. Shankar who has previously helmed Robot and Sivaji. The film is produced by Lyca Productions and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions are incharge of the Hindi release.

The film will hit the screen on 29 November 2018.
