The much awaited trailer of ‘Stree’ has finally dropped. The poster with a tagline ‘mard ko dard hoga’ and the teaser had already created a lot of buzz.
The fresh pairing of Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor is on point in the trailer. Rao along with Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurana will add the much needed humour to this horror film.
Plot :
‘Stree’ is set in a town called Chanderi wherein the men have started disappearing mysterious, leaving only their clothes behind. Rumours spark of a female spirit coming to the town annually. Shraddha Kapoor is supposedly to play ‘Stree’- the female spirit which gets in touch with Vicky (Rajkummar Rao). The duo fall in love and the rest will be revealed in the movie.
The film is definitely going to give you some chills while crackling your bones with laughter. Rajkummar Rao and Pankaj Tripathi will make sure that this horror comedy passes with flying colours.
Horror comedies are rare in Bollywood. Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal 4 was probably the first ‘hit’ one which have paved the way for more such films.
‘Stree’ is directed by Amar Kaushik and written by Raj and DK. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan along with Raj & DK, under Maddock films. The music is given by Sachin-Jigar.
The film is to release on 31 August 2018.
