Zee Marathi’s ‘Asmita’ serial had garnered lots of love & appreciation from the audiences when it was on the air. ‘Asmita’ played by Mayuri Wagh & ‘Abhimaan’ played by Piyush Ranade then fell in love with each other during the process of this serial.
Now Mayuri & Piyush have joined the list of Marathi reel to real life couples! Yes on 1st Feb 2017 they tied the knot at a wedding ceremony in Baroda, Gujarat. The ‘Sangeet’ & ‘Mehendi’ function also took place in Baroda on 30th& 31stJan.

Recently Shruti Marathe got married to Gaurav Ghatnekar, Kadambari Kadam got married to director Avinash Arun, & Mrunmayee Deshpande too tied the knot with a businessman. It seems like 2016 & 2017 are turning out to be the wedding season for Marathi film fraternity!
