Madhuri Dixit Nene has represented Marathi people & culture in world’s biggest Film Industry ‘Bollywood’ for over two decades! She recently shifted back to India from US & since then there were speculations that our favourite Madhuri will soon be doing a Marathi film. Now the cat is finally out of the bag!
Madhuri Dixit Nene’s first ever Marathi film Bucket List’s official poster was revealed on social media recently. The film is directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar & is set to release this summer in 2018. The tagline of the film ‘Majhi Tumchi..Aplya Saglyanchi’ referring to the main title ‘Bucket List’, & Madhuri’s look suggest us that she will be portraying a middle aged house wife! In the poster we can also notice keywords like ‘Housewife’, ‘Mother’ ‘Friend’, ‘Sister’, etc also suggesting us about Madhuri’s character & the film’s conflict or theme!
We certainly feel it’s a really good time for both Madhuri Dixit & Marathi cinema to come together! We as an industry are in need of cultural icons like ‘Madhuri’ to attract the audiences to cinema halls! We hope ‘Bucket List’ would make a connect with all audiences & also entertain everyone of us.
