“India has lost a leader who was an epitome of high moral values in public life”, stated Maharashtra Congress chief Ashok Chavan while extending his condolence on passing away of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Shri. Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Mr. Chavan said that Shri. Atal Bihari Vajpayee during his 50 years of public life was 3 time prime minister and a tall leader who was widely respected across the party lines. He immensely contributed towards transformation of our country, as a Member of Parliament, as Leader of Opposition, as Union Minister and as Prime Minister. Apart from being a great orator in Parliament, he was also a great and sensitive poet. Indian’s Ex. Home Minister and my father Late. Dr. Shankarao Chavan was a close colleague to Shri. Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
His sad demise is an irreparable loss to the Nation.
