Game of thrones have been loved by the fans worldwide for its spectacular content- gruesome battles (of course gigantic dragons), strong characters especially female ones and sexual content. The show will return for its eighth and the final season,next year and the fans are too eager to catch a glimpse of their favourite show.
While the good news is that HBO has ordered a prequel drama to writer Jane Goldman and author George R.R. Martin and green-lit the pilot. According to Martin’s books, the prequel which is the ‘Age of Heroes’ began 10,000 years before the events in ‘Game of Thrones’.
The network has released an official description of the show’s storyline, and it’s another tale spread across multiple locations and clans: Taking place thousands of years before the events of ‘Game of Thrones’, the series chronicles the world’s descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour. And only one thing is for sure: From the horrifying secrets of Westeros’ history to the true origin of the white walkers, the mysteries of the East, to the Starks of legend… it’s not the story we think we know.
The official credits for the pilot are: Story by Jane Goldman and George R.R. Martin, Teleplay by Jane Goldman. Goldman, Martin, Vince Gerardis, and Daniel Zelman will executive produce.
