Brazil Beat Mexico 2-0 To Enter Quarterfinals

Five time World Champions Brazil have beaten Mexico 2-0 in the Round of 16 match to enter quarterfinals and will now face the winners of Belgium Vs Japan to book a spot in the Semifinals.

Mexico started brilliantly as Javier Henrndez and Hirving Lozano asked a lot of questions to Brazilian defenders at the start but Brazil who were clear favorites in the game came back just after 20 minutes. Neymar and Gabriel Jesus continuously troubled the Mexican defenders. Both the teams went goal less in the first half.

Brazilian star player Neymar scored the first goal with a slide for Brazil at the 51st minute and Substitute Firmino scored another goal just two minutes before full-time and sealed the game.

Mexico have now been knocked out in the Round of 16 at each of the last seven World Cups.
