Ashutosh Rana’s Marathi Debut Movie Yeda’s First Look Revealed

The characters that he has portrayed on the silver screen have sent chill down the spines of audiences across film industries, be it Bollywood, Tamil or any other language. Proving the point that Cinema has no language, Ashutosh Rana is making his Debut in Marathi Cinema with yet another deadly performance in the film ‘Yeda’ Directed by Kishor Pandurang ‘Belekar’.
After working with several Bollywood Directors, Kishor Belekar has come up with his second outing ‘Yeda’post the success of his Directorial Debut‘Sa… Sasucha’! Even though it is a Marathi Cinema, the presentation of the movie has been completely different which has been the forte of Director Kishor Belekar. The first look of the movies was revealed atDadar Matunga Cultural Centreon 13th March amid the presence of the starcast and fanfare.
Produced under the banner ofMaitra Entertainment, Ashutosh Rana has portrayed the title role of an eccentric bramhin ‘Appa Kulkarni’ in Yeda. Since the appearance of Ashutosh Rana is completely different in this film, the Producers Satish More, Sneha Tambe, Girish Salvi, Lakshman Salunkhe and Aditya Sharma decided to keep the look under wraps which has paid rich dividends for the producers as it has generated an excitement amongst industry insiders as well as in the audiences as to how the look has been designed.
Apart from Direction, Kishor Belekar also has shouldered the burden of Story, Screenplay and Editing of Yeda. Producer-Actor Girish Salvi has penned the dialogues and the film boasts powerful starcast in Satish Pulekar, Reema Lagu, Kishori Shahane, Aniket vishwasrao, Pradnya Shastri and Sandesh Jadhav among others. Rais Ansari has wielded the Camera and Pawan Vaidyawas the Executive Producer.
“Kishor Belekar has put in lots of efforts in the making of Yeda and the first look represents Appa Kulkarni perfectly,” said Rana candidly.
Director Kishor Belekar said, “First look is the face of the film. It reveals the subject to the audiences and gives a sneak peek on the film. I am confident that the first look will prove to be effective in its purpose.”
