13 Year Old Slams Mammoth 556 Runs, Takes 6 Wickets In a Match

Priyanshu Moliya, a 13-Year Baroda boy has scored a mammoth unbeaten 556 runs in a two-day match in Shri DK Gaekwad Under-14 cricket tournament at the Vadodara Cricket Academy (VCA) ground against Yogi Cricket Academy. The youngster is mentored by India’s 1983 World Cup winning hero Mohinder Amarnath.

In his 319 ball innings Priyanshu hit 98 fours and a six which helped his team to put 826 runs on the board with the loss of four wickets and then bowled out the opposition for just 84 runs in their second innings, winning the game by a massive margin of 689 runs.

Apart from batting, the off spinner Priyanshu also claimed a total of six wickets in the match.

The 13 year old has surpassed Prithvi Shaw’s record innings of 546 runs when he was 14 years old, during a Harris Shield match at the Azad Maidan in Mumbai against St Francis D’Assisi.His innings included a whopping 85 fours and five sixes and his team, Rizvi Springfield posted 899 runs.

The right-handed Priyanshu says his role models are Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli.
